About Me
Hello, and thank you for your interest in my work.
My name is Kate Duffy Sim. I’m a retired educator, wife and mother, and life-long resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, where I’m a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
I’m also a devoted follower of Our Lady. She is known by many names: Blessed Mother, Madonna, and the Virgin Mary are only a few. But to me she is first and foremost my Mother. Her love, compassion, and guidance bless my life daily, and all that I have comes through Her grace.
My collection of paintings is called “I See Her Everywhere” — because I do! I experience Her presence in all the beautiful elements of the natural world, of which She is Queen.
I have recreated my experiences in paintings that draw from both traditional and non-traditional interpretations of the Blessed Mother’s image while incorporating natural elements in settings and symbols. These images are available on art prints, note cards, and Christmas cards. Each image is accompanied by its own original verse.
I hope these products will encourage you to see and experience the Holy Mother in new, dynamic ways, and to share Her grace and precious face with the world.
